14 Day Returns/Exchange Policy
At Melrosia, our pieces are crafted by artisans with care, each item is unique, with slight variations in stones, pearls, stitching, or finishes that reflect the hand of the maker. These differences are not faults but a hallmark of handcrafted quality.
We want you to love what you receive, but if something isn’t quite right, we offer a straightforward returns process for most products.
Return Eligibility
General Clothing & Jewellery
You may return eligible items within 14 days of receiving your delivery, provided the following conditions are met:
- Items must be unworn, unused, unwashed, unmarked and unaltered
- All original tags must be attached
- Items must be returned in original packaging (boxes, pouches, garment bags)
- A valid order number and proof of purchase is required
Important: Items showing signs of wear, makeup stains, scent transfer, damage, or alteration cannot be refunded.
Exceptions:
- Earrings are non-returnable for hygiene reasons, unless faulty
- Adjustable rings that have been bent or resized are non-returnable
- Final sale items or items bought with a promotional discount are non-returnable unless faulty
- Made-to-order or personalised items are non-returnable unless faulty
- Items purchased at pop-ups or events may only be returned with a valid receipt
Faulty or Damaged Items:
Please inspect your order upon delivery. If an item arrives damaged or in unsatisfactory condition, email us at info@melrosia.com within 48 hours of receiving it. Include your order number and clear photographs.
We’ll prioritise resolving the issue with a repair, replacement, or full refund.
How to return an item:
- Email us at info@melrosia.com within 14 days of delivery
- Include your order number, item(s) you wish to return, and the reason for return
- If faulty, attach clear photos
- Our team will respond with the return address and packaging instructions
- Once the item is received and inspected, your refund or store credit will be issued within 2–3 business days
Refunds
- Refunds are issued to the original payment method
- Alternatively, you may request store credit in the form of a digital gift card with no expiry
- Refunds apply only to purchases made directly through our website
- Items purchased via third-party platforms or stockists must be returned directly to them, as their policies may differ
Exchanges
We currently do not offer direct exchanges.
If you would like a different size or style, please return the original item and place a new order. If preferred, store credit can be issued once your return is processed.
International Returns & Custom Duties
- Customers are responsible for arranging return shipping and all associated costs
- Please ensure international parcels are clearly marked as:
“Returned goods – No commercial value” - Failure to do so may result in import duties or taxes being charged to us, which will be deducted from your refund
- Original shipping fees, customs duties, and import taxes are non-refundable
Gift with Purchase
If your return was part of an order that included a complimentary gift, the gift must be returned unused and in its original condition. If the gift is not returned, the value of the item may be deducted from your refund.
