What fabrics do you use?
Our clothing is crafted in small batches using natural and breathable fabrics like cotton, linen and viscose. Many pieces feature artisanal details such as embroidery, lace inserts, pleating and fabric manipulation techniques, designed to blend comfort with craftsmanship.
How do I choose the right size?
You’ll find a detailed size chart on each product page. Our sizing is based on real body measurements, not garment dimensions, and our silhouettes are designed to have a relaxed, flattering fit. If you’re between sizes or unsure, we recommend sizing down for a closer fit or up for a more oversized feel. Still unsure? Just drop us a message and we’ll be happy to help.
How should I care for my clothing?
Our garments are designed to be worn and loved often. For most styles in cotton or viscose:
Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle with similar colours
Use mild detergent, and avoid bleach or harsh chemicals
Do not tumble dry- instead, hang or lay flat to dry in the shade
Iron on low heat if needed, avoiding embellishments or trims
Always refer to the care label on the garment for specific instructions.
How do I care for my jewellery?
Our jewellery is handmade and plated in 18k or 22k gold, and requires special care:
Store in a dry place, away from direct sunlight and humidity
Avoid contact with water, perfumes, moisturisers or sanitisers
Use a soft, dry cloth to gently clean- avoid water, soap or chemicals
Always wear your jewellery last to help preserve its finish
When can I expect my order?
We aim to dispatch all orders within 1–2 business days for ‘Ready to Dispatch’ items and within 2–3 weeks for ‘Made to Order’ pieces. All parcels are sent via tracked Royal Mail services. International delivery timelines may vary depending on your location and customs procedures.

Can I cancel or amend my order?
Once an order has been placed, it cannot be cancelled or amended due to our automated processing system. Please ensure all details are correct before confirming your purchase.
What is your return and exchange policy?
We accept returns and exchanges on clothing within 14 days of delivery, provided items are unworn, in original condition, and with all tags intact.
For hygiene reasons, we do not accept returns or exchanges on earrings.

Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the item is faulty or incorrect.
Refunds are issued to the original payment method once the item is received and inspected.

Can I have my order gift packed?
Yes. All jewellery comes in its own protective pouch, and we pack multiple items together to reduce waste. If you’re purchasing a gift, simply leave a note at checkout. We’ll wrap it in our signature tissue, tie it with ribbon, and include a handwritten card with your message.
Can my item look different from the images?
Many of our pieces are handcrafted using natural materials such as semi-precious stones or baroque pearls, which may vary slightly in colour, shape or pattern, adding to their uniqueness.
Additionally, due to screen settings, lighting and device variations, colours of both jewellery and clothing may appear slightly different in person compared to how they appear online. We do our best to capture them as accurately as possible.
Is Melrosia a sustainable brand?
Yes, sustainability is central to what we do. All our pieces are handmade in small batches and nothing is mass produced. We work exclusively with artisan-led units and factories in India that are fully audited and SMETA certified, a globally recognised standard that ensures ethical practices around labour, health and safety, environment and business ethics.
We’ve also partnered with No Issue to use plastic-free, recyclable packaging.
